Description
The specimen is a portion of liver, unremarkable except for occasional pale nodular areas and a
fine fibrillary network of similar tissue through the specimen.
History
This specimen came from a patient with primary amyloidosis, a diagnosis established
histologically and in itself, to the naked eye, is no more than an infiltration.
